Return & Refund Policy

At SG Employment Agency Pte. Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to providing quality maid placement services. This Refund and Return Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and returns for services booked through our website (the “Site”).

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Scope

​

This Policy applies to all clients who use our services for hiring domestic workers (maids) through our agency.

​

2. Service Fees

​

  • All fees related to maid placement, training, documentation, and agency services are detailed during the booking process and in your service agreement.

  • Fees are non-refundable once the domestic worker has been deployed or when processing has begun unless stated otherwise below.

3. Refund Eligibility

​

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

​

a) Cancellation Before Deployment

  • Clients who cancel their maid placement request before the deployment date may be eligible for a refund, minus any non-refundable administrative or processing fees.

  • Notification of cancellation must be made in writing via email or other agreed communication channels.

​

b) MDW Unsuitability

  • If the deployed domestic worker is found unsuitable within the 30 days probation period, and the agency is notified promptly with valid reasons, we will assist with replacement or refund as per the terms of your contract.

  • Valid reasons may include misrepresentation, failure to meet job requirements, or other material breaches of agreement.

4. Non-Refundable Items

​

  • Medical examination fees

  • Visa and work permit processing fees once application is submitted

  • Travel and accommodation costs incurred by the agency

  • Fees for services already rendered, such as training or document preparation.

5. Return/Replacement of Domestic Worker

  • If a client requests a return or replacement of a domestic worker after deployment, the request must comply with local employment laws and agency procedures.

  • The agency will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis.

  • Additional fees may apply for replacement services.

6. How to Request a Refund

7. Processing Time

  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 4 weeks.

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Delays may occur due to banking or payment system processing times.

8. Changes to this Policy

​

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the effective date updated accordingly.
